Cornered

One of those lazy scenarios that hollier-than-thou peeps be bringing up; you have to behave good because, you never know, God might cut a wire and let the world in on everything that goes on in your head.

Scary thought. All the times you have unholy movies racing around in your head while the pastor is up there preaching fire and brimstone? They’d be out in the open.

But we do not think seriously about this because we know it’d never happen. Until your checkered past catches up with you that is.

Because when it does, it won’t matter. No one will care that you have been a dirty boy. No one will really care about your duplicity, fronting all these good values, upright member of society, please-stand-for-councillor-in-the-next-elections man.

Its the depression. Blame the depression.

About Steven

It wasn't me; arrest the voices. It was the voices in my head. Sike! I am Ugandan first. I care for development in my country. I am a curious observer second and I care to know what you think.

No one really cares because we are all, essentially, duplicitous.

But by all means, blame the depression.
